This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the BlazingNodes API, whether directly or through a marketplace such as OpenRouter. It is part of our Terms of Service. BlazingNodes is a brand of Spidyhost IT Services Pvt Ltd.
If you build an application on our API, you are responsible for making sure your own users follow this policy.
1. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service, or any output from it, to:
- Exploit or harm children. This includes any content that sexualizes minors. We report such activity to the authorities where the law requires.
- Break the law, or help others break it, in any country where you operate or where your users are.
- Create weapons capable of mass casualties, including biological, chemical, nuclear and radiological weapons, or help anyone acquire or use them.
- Attack computer systems: create or spread malware, ransomware or exploits for unauthorized use, or plan or carry out intrusions, denial-of-service attacks or other attacks on systems you are not authorized to test.
- Promote or incite violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or threaten, harass, bully or intimidate people.
- Promote hatred against people based on protected characteristics.
- Defraud or deceive people, for example through scams, phishing or fake reviews, or by impersonating real people or organizations without disclosure.
- Create sexual content involving real people without their consent, including non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Violate privacy: unlawfully collect, profile, track or surveil people, or reveal sensitive personal data such as health, financial or biometric data without a lawful basis.
- Interfere with democratic processes, for example through large-scale disinformation or voter suppression.
- Make high-impact automated decisions without human oversight, in areas such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, healthcare or legal status.
- Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property, or break the license terms of the model you are using.
- Send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages.
2. Protecting the Service
You may not:
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
- flood the Service with traffic, or try to get around rate limits, for example by spreading load over many keys to avoid limits;
- share, sell or publish API keys, unless you are a marketplace authorized by a written agreement with us;
- interfere with other customers’ use of the Service, or try to access data or systems that are not yours;
- misrepresent where requests come from in order to avoid enforcement.
3. How we enforce this policy without reading your data
We keep a zero data retention promise: we do not store or read prompts and completions (see our Privacy Policy). So we enforce this policy using:
- Request metadata: traffic volume, error patterns, request IDs and API key IDs.
- Reports from marketplaces, other customers, security researchers and authorities.
- Marketplace cooperation: when abusive traffic arrives through a marketplace, we send the request IDs to the marketplace so it can act on the account responsible. For example, we use OpenRouter’s provider abuse-report process for traffic routed through OpenRouter. We do not need to know who the end user is.
When we find a breach, we may:
- rate-limit or block the traffic;
- suspend or disable API keys;
- end the customer relationship;
- report to marketplaces or law enforcement where appropriate or required.
Where possible and lawful, we tell direct customers first and give them a chance to fix the problem. We may act immediately where there is a risk of serious harm.
4. Reporting abuse
To report misuse of the Service, a security issue, or illegal content generated through our API, email abuse@blazingnodes.com. Include request IDs and timestamps if you have them. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
5. Changes
We may update this policy to respond to new risks. The date at the top shows the latest version.
